We are a team of psychology and communication professionals dedicated to helping people across Ireland develop emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the practical skills to navigate life with greater confidence and calm.
Our Story
Mytradigital was founded in 2016 by a small group of professionals who shared a common frustration. Despite working across different fields including clinical psychology, organisational behaviour, and communications consultancy, they all observed the same pattern: intelligent, capable people were quietly struggling with emotional challenges that diminished their quality of life and their professional effectiveness. The support available to them often fell into two categories. On one end, there were clinical services designed for people in acute distress. On the other, there were motivational programmes that offered enthusiasm but lacked depth or evidence. Very little existed in the space between, where practical, psychologically grounded guidance could help everyday people manage the emotional complexity of modern life.
That gap is precisely where Mytradigital operates. Based in Dublin with clients throughout Ireland, we provide structured emotional management and personal development services that draw on established psychological research while remaining entirely practical and accessible. Our founders believed that emotional well-being should not require a crisis to justify seeking support, and that belief continues to guide everything we do. Over the past decade, we have worked with more than 1,200 individuals, from early-career professionals and parents to senior executives and public sector leaders, each bringing their own unique set of challenges and each leaving with a stronger capacity to respond to those challenges with clarity and composure.
What Guides Us
Every interaction, every session, and every recommendation we make is shaped by these foundational principles. They are not aspirational slogans. They are the standards we hold ourselves to every day.
Every technique and method we employ is rooted in published psychological research and established frameworks. We do not follow trends or rely on anecdotal claims. Our strategies have been validated through rigorous academic study and refined through years of practical application with real clients facing real challenges. When we recommend an approach, we can explain exactly why it works and what the evidence behind it demonstrates.
Every person who walks through our door or joins a virtual session is treated with complete respect. We recognise that discussing emotions and personal challenges requires courage. Our environment is designed to be non-judgemental, warm, and safe. We never minimise a person's experience, compare their progress to others, or impose timelines on their development. Growth happens at its own pace, and we honour that truth consistently.
Trust is the foundation of our work, and confidentiality is the foundation of that trust. Every conversation, every assessment, and every note from your sessions is protected under strict professional and legal standards. We comply fully with the General Data Protection Regulation and Irish data protection law. Your information is never shared with third parties without your explicit written consent. This is a commitment we take very seriously.
No two individuals experience emotional challenges in exactly the same way, so no two development plans should look the same. We take the time to understand your specific situation, your personality, your goals, and your daily environment before recommending any strategy. The techniques we suggest are chosen specifically for you and adapted to fit naturally into your existing routines, ensuring they are practical, sustainable, and genuinely useful.
Our Professional Methodology
Our methodology is grounded in several well-established psychological frameworks, each selected for its proven effectiveness and its applicability to the kinds of challenges our clients face. Cognitive behavioural principles help us work with clients to identify the thought patterns and automatic interpretations that drive unhelpful emotional responses. By examining these patterns with curiosity rather than criticism, individuals can begin to reshape how they process information and respond to stress. This is not about positive thinking in a superficial sense. It is about developing a more accurate and balanced way of interpreting the events of daily life, which in turn produces more proportionate and manageable emotional responses.
Alongside these cognitive approaches, we integrate elements of mindfulness-based practice. Mindfulness, in the way we apply it, is not a spiritual exercise or a relaxation technique, though relaxation may be a welcome side effect. It is a disciplined form of attention training that helps individuals become more aware of their present-moment experience without becoming overwhelmed by it. When a person can observe their own anxiety, frustration, or sadness with a degree of detachment, they gain the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively. This capacity is enormously valuable in high-pressure professional environments, in parenting, in relationships, and in any situation where emotional intensity might otherwise lead to regrettable decisions or damaged connections.
Communication skills training forms the third pillar of our approach. Many emotional difficulties are compounded by communication breakdowns. A person might feel frustrated but express it as criticism. They might feel vulnerable but present it as indifference or withdrawal. These mismatches between internal experience and external expression create confusion and conflict in relationships. We work with clients to develop more precise, honest, and constructive communication habits. This includes learning to express needs clearly, to listen without immediately formulating a rebuttal, to give and receive feedback with grace, and to navigate difficult conversations without losing composure or connection. These are skills that most people were never explicitly taught, and acquiring them can transform the quality of both personal and professional relationships.

The Irish Context
Ireland has experienced remarkable economic and social change over the past two decades. The growth of the technology sector, the increasing diversity of the workforce, and the evolving expectations around work-life balance have all created new pressures that previous generations did not face in quite the same way. At the same time, cultural attitudes toward emotional health are shifting. There is a growing recognition that acknowledging emotional difficulties is not a sign of weakness but an indication of self-awareness and maturity. Organisations are beginning to understand that emotionally intelligent employees are more productive, more collaborative, and more likely to remain engaged over the long term.
Despite this shift in attitudes, the practical support available to people in Ireland who want to develop their emotional management skills remains limited. Clinical services are vital but often oversubscribed, and they are primarily designed for individuals experiencing diagnosable conditions. Corporate wellness programmes tend to be broad and generic, offering one-size-fits-all workshops that may raise awareness but rarely produce lasting behavioural change. Mytradigital exists to fill this gap with professional, individualised guidance that meets people exactly where they are and helps them build the specific skills they need to thrive in their particular circumstances.

What Sets Us Apart
There are many services that claim to improve emotional well-being. What distinguishes Mytradigital is our refusal to oversimplify the process. We do not offer quick fixes, and we are honest about the fact that meaningful personal development takes time, effort, and genuine engagement. We also do not position ourselves as having all the answers. Our role is to facilitate your own process of discovery, to provide the framework and the expertise that allows you to understand yourself more deeply and to develop strategies that are truly your own. This means our sessions are collaborative rather than prescriptive. You are always an active participant in your own development, and your insights, preferences, and feedback shape the direction of our work together.
We are also distinctive in the breadth of our approach. While many services focus exclusively on either psychological techniques or communication skills, we integrate both into a cohesive framework. This is because emotional challenges rarely exist in isolation. The way a person manages their anxiety affects how they communicate with their colleagues. The way they express frustration shapes the dynamics of their closest relationships. By addressing both the internal experience and the external expression of emotions, we help clients achieve change that is comprehensive and deeply rooted rather than superficial or temporary. Our clients consistently tell us that this integrated approach is what made the difference for them when other forms of support had not produced lasting results.
We will always be honest with you about what we can and cannot help with, and we will recommend alternative services if we believe they would serve you better.
We will never pressure you to purchase additional sessions or programmes. Every recommendation is made solely in service of your well-being and development goals.
We will protect your confidentiality with the same rigour we would want applied to our own personal information, exceeding both legal and professional standards.
We will stay current with the latest research and continuously refine our methods to ensure you receive the most effective support available.
Client Perspective
"I was initially sceptical about whether this kind of service could really help me. I had tried journaling, meditation apps, and even attended a couple of wellness workshops through my employer. None of them produced lasting change. What made Mytradigital different was the depth and personalisation of the approach. My consultant took the time to understand my specific triggers, my communication habits, and the particular pressures of my role. The strategies we developed together were tailored precisely to my life, not generic advice from a self-help book. Eight months later, I handle pressure differently. I still feel stress, but it no longer controls my reactions. My relationship with my partner has improved because I communicate more clearly and listen more patiently. I would recommend Mytradigital to anyone who wants to develop genuine, sustainable emotional skills."
